Food is ok, the service is terrible. This review is based over four visits to this place. It's sad because this is one of the only food places in this area.

LOVE their food, creative menu, and the prices are good too. I've tried the pulled pork, the buffalo burger, but the best thing I've had is the local grassfed hamburger. It's one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! The sides are also my favorite part, they have spicy collard greens, delicious fried okra, even their baked beans taste special and good. As a bonus, this place supports local schools. An overall winner!!

Meat & Fire BBQ, Saint Cloud Decided to stop here because there were a lot cars in the parking spaces. The place has been open for 2.5 years and it's airy and clean. Located in the Publix shopping plaza on 192 and Narcoossse. The place is a fast food BBQ establishment. You order at the order here line, select your meat, sides, etc. we ordered the brisket sandwich on garlic bread and the Cuban sandwich, coke slaw and a drink. The total was $20! I thought it was pricey. The brisket sandwich was ok and small. The Cuban sandwich was excellent - loved the onion rings twist and its big enough to share. Overall, good place, lots of dining options, pricey for BBQ food. Would I go again?? Maybe.

Had 3 meat platter and nothing really made me want more. Ribs were very tough and tasted old. Had the brisket which was okay but not enough flavor to make me want to come back. My son had the 1/4 chicken and it was grilled not fresh off the smoker. None of the smoked meat had great smoke flavor on them. Sides were okay I had baked beans, collard greens and okra. Baked beans were a little blah and the collard greens had some flavor but more would have been nice. Sauce was okay but couldn't really figure out what type of bbq they are going after. Also had store bought sweet baby rays in the table which was strange for a bqq place to do. Average at beast but nothing would bring me back given other options in the area.

We go here often, and the meat is really good. Pulled pork is excellent, burnt ends are great, Brisket is good and ribs are pretty good. The sides are just OK. The fried Okra is great. I find their greens to be bland and poorly seasoned and their Mac and Cheese is pretty gross and waaay over peppered. Almost like they pepper it to "fix" it. Ha! They have fallen into the trap of "if we have a bazillion menu items we will make more money" - which simply isnt the case. If they got rid of half the menu - and focused instead on the one great thing they have going for them - their dads original BBQ, with 4-5 amazing sides with 2 desserts they will be successful long term. Their bad service and slow line is directly correlated with the menu, and too many items on it. Their food waste has to be really high. The service, as mentioned above is hit or miss. If they get busy it takes forever to get orders out. I personally think their meat is better than 4 Rivers, but they need to camp out down there at 4 Rivers and learn a thing or two about service and speed. Will keep going back for the meat, but def do it during slow times. :)

In one word, overpriced. Sub-adequate bbq for the price you pay. I've eaten and bbq restaurants throughout the southeast and have eaten better tasting and better quality food for less than they charge. I'm not above paying more money for good food but this isn't the case with this establishment.

Ate here today and the food was phenomenal. It is authentic bbq. If you're looking for Sonny's style sit down bbq, then you'll be disappointed. All the focus is on the food, which is awesome. The only bbq in CFL that comes close to this for me is 4 Rivers, but that's too far for me to drive.

Great place! Went for lunch and got the brisket sandwhich with Mac and cheese. Food was good just wish they had original bbq sauces.

I will say the proteins are done very well. The burnt ends I had were great. The sides are lackluster to be kind. When was the last time canned vegetables wowed anyone? Never. So order your meat by the pound, take it home, then make your own sides.

#Yelp100 After speaking with the owner and retrying the food, I have rewritten my review to up it to 4 starts. Went in with a group of 4 and two had ribs, amazing, and one had pork sandwich, very juicy, and I had the brisket. It was just the best. Yes it's a little expensive, but the people are nice, the food is good, what more do you want? The Apple/Orange cake is simply divine, definitely try a piece. The cole slaw and potato salad remind me of my grandmothers, and that's a good thing, but the sweet potato sou flee is the BOMB, a must try. Put this in a crust and give it to me as a Thanksgiving Pie for sure! I will be back with out a doubt! Thanks Phil for bringing in this to the other end of St. Cloud!

The food was good as was the service but the price was outrageous. I personally wouldn't pay this much again. It is cafeteria style and you refill your own drinks. That's fine but to pay that much for that kind of food is not for me. I had the beef brisket sandwich and thought it was very good. The sides were mediocer at best.

I have visited "Meat N Fire" two days after it opened and I still visit them today! To start of, the restaurant appearance is very customer friendly. A reasonable amount of seats with a nice setup staying on the same theme. The food is not exquisite, but it is still good. They are a little pricy, but still provide some delicious barbecue. My recommendation, if your in Saint Cloud and looking for some barbecue, this is the place to go.

I went there for late dinner and had the three meat combination. The brisket, sausage and pork was delicious and had plenty of flavor. Unfortunately they ran out of ribs prior to my visit, but the other foods were on point. My kids simply loved the Bison burger., I will go back and have a taste. If you want really good bbq, definately give this place a visit, you will not be disappointed.

My favorite BBQ in central Florida hands down. For me, pulled pork is what I use to judge my BBQ experience and meat n fire does not disappoint. I have tried Donny's, four rivers, bubba lou, Cecil's, and countless other road side stands and small shops. Nothing compares. I eat here for lunch at least once a week and always get the pulled pork lunch special with one side. Recommend the $0.50 upgrade to garlic bread. The collard greens are my favorite and the other sides are very good (but maybe not "great" like grandma used to make). On occasion I get a side of smoke sausage or burnt ends which is always a treat but I don think I could eat a whole plate for a lunch. If you are a local pick up a loyalty card. Free drink, side, or $5 off within 10 visits.

I wanted to like this place. It smelled fantastic going in. I had cracker nachos with beef brisket. It used cheese sauce, but would have been much better with real cheese, the cheap cheese sauce hides the good meat. My companion had a pulled chicken sandwich, which was good but a little dry. The buffalo tots were pretty good too, but the buffalo sauce ruins the crispiness. This place should have been better than it was, so I'll probably try it again sometime.

Great BBQ at this locally restaurant. The owner is constantly trying new items for the menu. One of my favorites is the brisket sandwich, very tender and tasty. Always clean and the staff is very friendly.

It is a cafeteria style BBQ joint in St. Cloud. It lies on the end of a shopping plaza. We were so impressed that they have grass fed meats for example there burgers are grass fed meat. One of the best burgers I ever had. But what turned me off if I'm paying top dollar for a burger masterpiece I would expect it on a higher grade bread than what they used. I also have had there ribs. Nice smoke. Flavorful just what a rib should be. Brisket was dry no juice had nice smoke but bland. All in all it's a little pricey for St. Cloud.

Wonderful smoked ribs with a great dry rub. Add your own sauce to taste. Yes, this is Texas-style counter service to order, but the bbq is superb. For the quality, the prices are reasonable.

Second time coming here. Very good service, very friendly. The food is good, but not great. My mother for the chopped pork dinner with green beans, collards, and sweet potato souffle. The pork was good, a bit fatty, however the sides were not very tasty. The green beans and collards were extremely bland, the souffle wasn't anything special, just ok. I ordered the brisket dinner with potato salad, coleslaw, and mac n cheese. Brisket was really good, had a very nice smoke ring. Potato salad was my favorite, kinda like a mashed potato salad. Coleslaw and mac n cheese were good as well.

My husband and I just had an excellent meal! I had the grass fed burger, baked beans and corn bread. My husband had sliders (2 pork, and 1chicken), and Mac n cheese. Although they are still working out some kinks (fryer was down), the dining room server was very friendly, and the food was good. The only reason I did 4/5 was bc the prices are a little steep.

I love BBQ and this just wasn't it. I tried the ribs and they were very dry and flavorless. They pretty much tasted over smoked. I was very disappointed. Also, need to focus better on customer service. Everyone should be treated equal.

Horrible over priced bar-b-que. Over smoked and poor choices of wood. Just tastes like biter nasty burnt wood. I had the house sweet sauce which just was overpowering with black pepper. The mac and cheese is passable. The coleslaw on the other hand is terrible, really should not be served it is so bad. The coleslaw is basically raw unseasoned shredded cabbage covered in what I think are celery seeds, if there is any dressing mixed into this slaw I can't find it. The smoked sausage was over cooked and was so hard and dried out that it was close to being inedible Very very disappointing experience. The food is just not up to restaurant quality standards. If I had dined in instead of getting take out I would have demanded a refund. It's a shame the staff were wonderful and I like the look of the place, just the food I was served is well below par particularly considering the price.
